For Myself

My first set of lightsabers, store bought at the local Goodwill. These are two different variants on the same lightsaber modified slightly using old pieces from plastic models and rubber gaskets. Both are custom painted by me to be slight opposites of each other. I also rewired the blade lighting from blue to red. As my first stab at custom lightsabers, I do not think they turned out so bad.

For My Wife

My daughter and I are huge Star Wars fans, so we thought my wife/her mother might like to be involved too. For mothers day, Juni and I worked hard for a week to create Yvonne her own custom lightsaber. Made from pvc pipe and random plumbing parts, this piece came complete with a special Mother Day message. It reads:

"A long time ago in a country far far away

Two Jedi fell in love!

Master Boopus, you are our Chosen One!

You are the Light in our Galaxy

and bring Balance to our lives!

Together we are Unstoppable.

We can't wait to battle the Dark Side with you

for the rest of our lives!

May the Force Be With You!!!"

For My Daughter

While working on my wife's lightsaber for Mother's Day, my daughter and I of course had to make one for her as well. At 4 years old, my daughter designed exactly how she wanted her lightsaber to look with the parts I provided for her. What you see is a Juni original. She was very adament that she wanted pink glitter with gold accent coloring as well. I couldn't be more proud of my little Bug. The force is definitely with her.

Future project

Next up in the custom lightsaber collection will be a double bladed lightsaber with removeable blades for dual wielding capabilities.
